1) Dhyan Chand Born.

He was born on 29 August 1950 in the city of Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh. 5) Awards and Achievement.

When he retired from the Army at the age of 43 in 1948, the Government of India honored him with Padmabhushan in the same year, on 29 August, we celebrate his birth as National Sports Day.
